Sam Lyle, currently serving time behind bars for burglary, had broken into Hawk's home and stolen a piece of priceless artwork. Then, due to his own stupidity, Sam had managed to get himself arrested, and the stolen goods were locked away in Police Chief Ray Sanchez's office. Hawk's plan to get inside and retrieve what rightfully belonged to him was moving along nicely - until he received word that Joshua Hill was being released from prison, and all charges were dropped. Fearing exposure, Hawk threw caution to the wind, taking chances that changed his greed to obsession. Would he get away with his crimes, or would he be pushed to the breaking point?
