As a young man, Richard's parents left their cabin to go to work and never returned. All Richard Dean Vale knew was that they worked in a lab somewhere in the mountains. He did not know which mountain or cave system they were held up in. All Vale had was a small chest his mother left for him filled with odd artifacts and a book that, at the time made no sense to him. Having scientists for parents always left conundrums, riddles and puzzles for Vale to solve. Only this puzzle could mean all the difference between seeing his parents and living a life without them. With a band of unlikely friends helping him Vale set out on the adventure of a lifetime. An adventure that could change his life forever.
