The dark god seeks converts, slaves, and power to use against his distant foes, and believes in the north his designs will go unopposed and unnoticed by his rivals. Never in the wildest of the Corrupter's twisted dreams did he imagine that ancient foes he believed long defeated would rise up once more and appoint champions to contest his will. As the Elemental Lords and the civilized southern races that follow them enjoy the long peace of the stalemate, war rises in the north. A war that will see the wolf-like Wulfzerka, or Ulfgiffa as they call themselves, forced to take sides in a conflict not their own.
