If my memory serves me-which it doesn't always-this is a book of true short stories retelling the travels down the road of my life. Before opening the book, the reader should know a few things I believe:1. Endings are beginnings.2. Life is a ray of sunshine, a drop of rain and a rainbow.3. The only good rat is a dead rat. Don't condemn the farmer's wife for chasing them with a carving knife. 4. If it's your first shave, never put 'shaving' in the same sentence with 'quick'.5. Common sense is no substitute for tradition.6. When faced with a new contraption-wait for directions.7. Never cast a spell unless you mean it.8. Never worry about detours for they are the expressways of life.9. Never say never.I write with a tear in my eye, a lump in my throat, and a smile on my lips ready to burst into laughter, in the hope that I would evoke the same sentiment in my readers.
