As a Lean coach, I have several times wondered why these concepts not to be taken to society irrespective of technical competency requirement as Lean is always simple and effective tools to look for continuous improvements throughout the spheres of the action. This book covers major four key Lean tools and techniques "5S, Value Stream Mapping, Poka Yoke & Kaizen" among several Lean tools available as well as a brief about Problem-solving tools and techniques. This book is designed in such a way that how these four key principles can be made as a culture in the reader's mind thereby they can apply in their real-life problem solutions in an easy and effective way. As a Lean Practitioner, I believe that Lean should be educated to all levels of students and graduates and common man across the World as it is a powerful tool to impart discipline and structured problem-solving ability to us. With the intention of bringing Lean principles to society, the book has been designed with easy language and real-life examples so that the readers can get the essence of Lean tools where they can start apply in their day to day activities.
