The demand for milk and milk product in India is increasing day by day. Among Indigenous dairy products, Condensed milk (Khoa/Mawa) is very rich in total solids and hence highly nutritious food in the diet of human beings. Food adulteration is fast growing worldwide as an industry. Global market of adulteration and fake goods is more than several hundred billion dollars which constitutes more than 10 percent of total trade. At present, the acceptable quality and nutritional quality of milk and milk products are deteriorating day by day with the view of wholesalers and retailers to make more money from less production.
