Reseña del libro "Psalms Turned Inward (en Inglés)"
These psalm poems reflect Adrienne’s journey with God over the course of several years. As she read the psalms, she realized that her worst enemies were internal, not external. Demons, attackers, agnostics, atheists, fighters and haters — all inside her. So she began to rewrite the psalms: speaking to God and herself about God, and about the doubts and darkness in her life. God revealed her worst foes to be largely captured in what she calls her terrible Ds: depression, doubt, discouragement, darkness, dis-ease, death. As she journeyed through the psalms, she found herself more and more seeing the feminine, the womanly, the motherly in God. So you will find these psalm poems use feminine pronouns for God and especially focus on God as our Sovereign Lady Wisdom.
