Reseña del libro "NOT So Lucky in Love (en Inglés)"
I refuse to be anybody's second choice, last resort or back-up plan. If you're not in love with me for me and genuinely choose me, I do not want you to be my man...Okay, so yes, I have been a fool a time or two; but, who has not? Love will make you do some crazy things and believe in everything, but the truth. I am what one would call a hopeless romantic. I believe in love and I just love the idea of love. Most people want the fairy tale love; the house, the dog, the car and the white picket fence. However, that happens almost never. So, just like many of you, I have had my heart broken. I have been cheated on and lied to. I knew for a fact that me and my high school sweetheart would get married and live happily ever after and no one could have told me differently. Not. Then, I thought me, and my child's father would be one big happy family. I never wanted to be a baby mother. Thus far, that didn't happen either. Let's not forget about all the potential men far and in between. Most of them didn't even stand a chance. Boy bye. Yet, even after all the bad and failed relationships, I still believe in love. I want the unconditional, true, genuine and pure love ordained by God that 1st Corinthians speaks of. However, the men that I have met are not the men from the bible. I am sure many of you have not met your Boaz either (go figure, huh). Everyone's love story does not always end the same. When I tell you that mines is far from fairy tale, I kid you not. There was some good, some bad and some ugly. But, I vowed to be content in my singleness and wait on the Lord. And while I am waiting, I have decided to take you guys on a journey through my not so "1st Corinthians" relationships, hope you enjoy the ride...and remember that the sun does shine after the rain. I took all the energy from being NOT So Lucky in Love to falling in love with the relationships that matters the most.
