The first instant her eyes met hose of Dr. Mitchell, Apollo 14 Lunar Module Pilot and sixth man on the moon, she felt the earth move under her feet. They had a whirlwind romance and became best friends and confidents. Her story is a triumph over early sexual abuse described in graphic detail. Khadija was also rapped later on in life. Her beauty was a crutch and seemed to attract all the wrong types. Yet Dr. Mitchell's gentle and loving ways acted as a Baum to soothe her broken heart. The book also describes the adventures of this 'Female Indiana Jones.' The reader will go on a long journey with the author from despair to triumph. Her extensive travels are described in detail. She presently resides in Egypt an is the founder of "Team Bastet International" a world wide group whose goals are restoration of the great Temple of Bastet in the Delta of Egypt, Saving the animals through rescue and compassion and educating the people about the great cat. Once adored and pampered, they wander the streets of Cairo and the cities dirty, starving and misunderstood. Many animal rescue groups exist to help, and one of her goals is to bring them together to pass laws making it a felony to hurt innocent dogs and cats.
