Reseña del libro "God Time Creosote (en Inglés)"
Myron Ernst began writing poetry later in life, at age forty-three, shortly after the sudden death of his mother. It was this that impelled him to express his deep sorrow through the medium of poetry, and it may be said that all of the poems in this collection flow from this event. This collection of carefully constructed poems is in fact, an autobiographical journey from early childhood to old age;from his youth in Brooklyn, to the Holocaust, in which his immigrant mother's closest family perished, to doubts about God and religion, meditations on old age, mortality and death, and a final acceptance in which we continue to live after death in the memory of those who follow us. Finally, this collection of poems tells of a journey that all of us must make. With this in mind, Ernst takes great care, in these carefully sculpted poems, to make them concrete, universal, and accessible to all interested readers.
