Renee and Ezekiel arrived home from their honeymoon a few weeks ago. They are worried because Sam is still on the loose since breaking out of jail, so Ezekiel has been working at home. Renee is pregnant, and her emotions are all over the place, so she worries about Sam being free because no one can find him, and she is scared when the babies arrive. Renee and Ezekiel felt the babies kick for the first time, which was a joyous occasion for both of them. Ezekiel is by Renee's side for every doctor's appointment, and Renee would go to Ezekiel's office if he needed to stop by the office for any reason. Renee goes to court against her former boss and wins the court case. Renee's nausea and food aversions have improved, but she still has a few things she can't eat, which Ezekiel won't let in the house until after the babies are born. Ezekiel surprised Renee by secretly decorating the nursery and having an impromptu baby shower. One afternoon Renee wanted to go to lunch, so she asked Steve and Monica to take her out. While they are there, Renee finds out that one of her family members is in trouble, so she ditches her security team before she goes missing. Steve called Ezekiel to explain to him what had happened to Renee. Ezekiel has everyone he knows looking for Renee, but he doesn't realize Renee left him a clue to find her. Renee went into pre-term labor at twenty weeks. Were the doctors able to stop labor? Did Renee give birth at twenty weeks? Did the babies survive? Ezekiel and everyone they knew found Renee.
