In New Jersey, the FBI agent Gustavo Rodriguez will be turned over to Senator Bailey's representative and driven back to Langley to meet with the NSA. Jackson Stafford is being held as a prisoner by a rural Indiana town police department, but the state Attorney General is about to be called by the 'Watchers' to get him removed by special forces before things get out of hand. Meanwhile, in the mystical world of La Tulipan and the adventurers, their realization that they may not get back is beginning to sink in. Their fight to understand the Entity will come crystal clean once they come face-to-face with it in the Temple within the mainframe. Some one has intervened on Jackson Stafford's part to have him released from the police station where he's been sedated with Thorazine. Harry, being held at the FBI branch in Trenton, NJ, has someone looking out for him, Senator Brooks.
