In 1958 Phoenix Arizona jobs are scarce for a widowed mother. Jason often turns a blind eye to Daniel's torment and winds up joining the local street gang, The Sharks and finds himself caught in the middle of a gang war that puts him and the lives of his brother and their friends in jeopardy. After Daniel manages to uncover all of his Uncle's secrets, his life is put on the line and he must learn how to defend himself from his brother's best friend Bobby. Two brothers will learn the power of family and the damage that secrets can do while the one person that they have watching over them slowly descends into madness.
