Notes, essays, reviews - under the name of elements, because they give prominence to simple values and principles, each text contributing to a living wholeness and being itself complete. Despite their brevity and variety, in the expression of primary ideas and the cohesion of an apparent and latent order, they claim plenitude. The educational value prevails, to the degree, of course, that the intentions are fulfilled, providing some support in case someone advances 'from a dark day to the real one.' The structure of the book in sections - History, Church, Culture, Politics - facilitates access to the texts by recognising some emphases, it doesn't want to enforce divisions where they do not exist, since most of the texts can have several identities.
